While we’ll have some mega news on Monday, here’s another of our game characters, beautifully illustrated by Grace Jennings.

Leah lives in a small town.  She is 19. She grew up there and works as a bartender at a local restaurant. She doesn’t have a boyfriend, and currently lives with her parents. While many of her friends are enrolled at the community college the next town over, and a few left town for college or to move to the city after high school, Leah is trying to save up money and think about what she would like to do. Her sister moved to Austin a few years ago, but she and Leah were never especially close, and the thought of being so far from home isn’t appealing. For now, she likes her job at the restaurant. She makes good money, and she doesn’t mind making small talk with the regulars. Her mother worries about Leah closing the bar at night alone, but Leah thinks her mom worries too much. Nothing ever happens here, and it’s not like Leah drinks on the job.
